Journal of Critical Anti-Oppressive Social Inquiry -CAOS
The Journal of Critical Anti-Oppressive Social Inquiry is a space for those who seek 'not to destroy through critique, but to improve' (Chambon, 1999).
Housed at Ryerson University's Centre for Critical Social Inquiry and Action (CSIA), we publish original manuscripts that foreground critical forms of inquiry, research and practice in multiple disciplines including but not limited to Anti-Oppressive Practice, Intersectionality, Anti-Racism, Anti-Colonization, Decolonization, Feminism(s), Anti-Capitalism, Labour Studies, Queer Studies, Trans Studies, Mad Studies, Fat Studies and critical disability work.
We are interested in conceptual pieces, original research as well as reports on practices in multiple spaces and places. The journal is published on-line twice a year
